Economic Research
Welcome to your career in Economic Research. Economic Research staff conduct research, write articles, as well as give presentations and speeches. Staff also advise Kansas City Fed management on policy issues relevant to the Federal Reserve. Research staff are located in all four offices of the Kansas City Fed, building relationships with business and community leaders who are most familiar with current developments in the local economy.

Qualifications
Applicants should have a strong understanding of economic theory and experience in econometrics and statistics. Applicants also should have excellent written and oral communication skills, and be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite products, econometric and statistical analysis software, and computer programming languages.
