
APPOINTMENTS AT THE FEDERAL RESERVE BANK OF KANSAS CITYA Kansas City banker and an Oklahoma City business leader have recently been appointed to positions with the Federal Reserve. Byron G. Thompson, chairman of the board of Country Club Bank, N.A., Kansas City, MO, has been appointed by the Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City to represent the Tenth Federal Reserve District on the Federal Advisory Council. The Council is comprised of leading bankers from across the nation – one from each Federal Reserve District – who meet quarterly in Washington, D.C., with Federal Reserve Chairman Alan Greenspan and the Federal Reserve Board to advise on economic and banking matters. Robert A. Funk, chairman of the board and chief executive officer of Express Personnel Services International, has been appointed by the Board of Governors to a position on the Board of Directors of the Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City. Funk has also been designated as Deputy Chairman of the Kansas City Board. Funk had served as a director at the Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City’s Oklahoma City Branch since 2000. The Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City and its branches in Denver, Oklahoma City and Omaha serve the Tenth Federal Reserve District: Colorado, Kansas, Nebraska, Oklahoma, Wyoming, northern New Mexico and the western third of Missouri. # # # Return to www.kansascityfed.org
